Typing hurts a little… please forgive any typos.
Last night I made a baked potato for Roy. I took it out of the oven, and unwrappped it from the foil. I opened it up with a knife, one slice down [...] The kids have been gone for 18 days and are coming home on Wednesday. We have enjoyed our freedom, yet the house seems too quiet most days. We’ve been totally irresponsible! From eating junk food for dinner to an unexpected night away from home, we’ve acted like we didn’t have kids. HA! It’s been fun! The first weekend [...] Are those smiles because the sun is in their eyes? Because they are happy to see each other? Or because I threatened to beat them with a wet noodle if they didn’t? I’ll never tell!
Matt, Nathan and Whitney July [...] In my lifetime, cheating has been consistently viewed as a bad thing. Cheat on your test at school? Bad. Cheat your sister out of her favorite shoes? Bad bad bad. Somewhere along the line, cheating became ok. Not at school, not from your siblings, but for your electronic games. No one can wait to beat the game [...] Today is Wednesday and you know that means I’m not doing nuttin’ today! Tonight is Matt’s night to cook dinner and I have to tell you what he made. A few days ago he perused the cookbook looking for something new to cook. He made me a shopping list and tonight was the big night! First he whipped up [...] My Mom and Sister created a blog monster!
